Lamont Opera Theatre presented Mozart’s sophisticated and witty Cosí fan tutte.  Directed by Ken Cox and conducted by Lawrence Golan, the opera tells the story of two disguised young soldiers who cause hilarious romantic complications when they decide to test their fiancées’ faithfulness.  Guangke Dai, Emily Gradowski, Theresa Kesser and Jenna Clark alternate playing the sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella.  Humberto Borboa, Kevin Gwinn, Matthew Peterson and Welly Disayanon shared the roles of Ferrando and Guglielmo.

Performed in the original Italian with English supertitles, the opera was presented in the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17.
